These sites are database driven, meaning they are dynamically generated on the fly by the server. This allows the site to be run from a database, allowing great flexibility for the user to add, edit, and remove content on the site without any knowledge of HTML, usually from a Control Panel, accessible from any browser. This type of site eliminates the cost of ongoing updates. This type of site can have a Cold Fusion shopping cart, and many means of order/sales tracking. All the major e-commerce sites are run this way.

Standard Web Sites
These sites are standard HTML sites that are used for a brochure, or to disseminate information to the public or potential customer. This is the type of site that a company would use for it's online presence to get the word out about it's products and/or services.

Maintenance/Updates
These are sites that needed updating, design changes, and/or repairs, and the original developer was unavailable, or there were time constraints on the customer.
